Our goal is to exceed expectations and ensure our customers receive an exceptional experience.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Work cross functionally with all departments during all phases of the project including de-bug and runoff.
- Independently handles the engineering, programming, integration and commissioning of the following:
- PLC logic, servo motion and HMI displays utilizing applicable software
- Robotic systems (most common robotic brands include Fanuc, Kuka, Motoman, Universal Robotics, etc.)
- Vision systems to perform part recognition, part position, robot guidance, and quality inspections (most common vision systems used are Fanuc 2D and 3D iR Vision, Keyence, and Cognex)
- Safety circuits and controllers
- Assists with the training and development of entry level engineers and technicians
- Assembles mechanical and electrical components as needed.
- Must be able to travel within the continental US.
- Willing to travel a minimum of 25% of work year.
- When necessary, participate in classes and training seminars to learn new technologies and techniques deemed helpful to performance on the job.
- All other tasks/projects as assigned by leadership
Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be professional, proactive, and positive. Having a passion for exceptional customer service and support is a must. Being sensitive to the unpredictable demands and uncertainties associated with customer service is a requisite to delivering superior results and exceeding the expectations of very demanding customers.Other skills and abilities:- Develop system drawings using AutoCAD to produce engineering and production documentation as required
- Offline robot programming
- Ability to troubleshoot existing installations
- Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings
- Working knowledge of personal computer, keyboard, and software programs
- Working knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good verbal and written skills
- Proven organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and work with limited supervision
- Good presentation skills
- Ability to explain how and why specific conclusions were reached
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work well under pressure
EDUCATIONFour-year degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics) or a related field is preferred. Minimum (3) years experience of working with controls or programming robotics is required.
