Salary Range: $80,000 - $150,000 Bonus and Commission

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage multi-million dollar in projects annually based on determined budgets and goals
• Manage multiple cradle to grave projects simultaneously ranging from small to extremely complex
• Manage project budgets, costs, margins, schedules, scope, quality, and customer expectations
• Manage the development of project documentation (i.e., IO list, device list, scope of work, SAT, FAT, etc.)
• Responsible for developing project estimates and execution plan
• Manage the development and troubleshooting of PLC & HMI code as required
• Work with the Engineering Department and Engineering Manager to plan for resources, engineering availability, project schedules, training, etc. – includes actively participating in PMO meetings
• Attend project/job walks, start-ups, commissioning, project close out meetings, etc.
• Develop, maintain, and grow customer relationships to achieve project goals, budget, timeline, and handoff
• Act as the voice and face of Automation Group on assigned projects, further developing our relationship with the client to win new project opportunities and future commitments
• Work with various AG departments (i.e., Sales Department, Design Team, Technology Team, Marketing Team, etc.) to present data, project scope of work, designs, presentations, etc. to customers.

Desired Education and Experience:

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or 5 years’ experience in control system project management
• Experience in job cost analysis, budget management, time and schedule prioritization, resource management, and scope management
• Early conflict identification resulting management and successful resolution
• Advanced experience with programmable log controllers (PLC), including design and programming knowledge
• Advanced experience with human-machine interface (HMI), including design and programming knowledge
• Familiar with the “PMBOK” project management approach
• Experience working for a System Integrator is valued but not mandatory

Working Conditions:

Automation Group takes pride in offering a flexible work environment. Travel is expected. This position will mainly report to client sites, with ability to work remotely when permitted.

Attendance Requirements: 

Monday – Friday 8am - 5pm (flexible /- 1 hour). Evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
