The ideal candidate will possess a strong automation and motion control background, experience working with industrial OEMs and End User customers, selling components and automation products/systems. The candidate should also be a self-starter with excellent communication skills, is comfortable working in the field with other EIA sales employees and customers solving problems, creating solutions with the support of our manufacturers based on customer need, and acting as subject matter expert for automation/motion control product to the rest of the sales force. The candidate will also have the opportunity to help build out the automation product lineup where needed.
Candidate will be responsible for sales and customer support throughout the states of New Jersey, Southern New York, Connecticut and Rhode Island

The position is 40 hours a week; Monday through Friday, 8AM – 5PM and will report directly to the National Sales Manager. An automobile will be provided along with technology tools (laptop, iPhone). Expected travel throughout the North East is 50-60% with occasional overnight stays.
