Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the medical office
- Ensure efficient and effective utilization management of resources
- Supervise and provide guidance to office staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Implement and enforce human resources policies and procedures
- Collaborate with medical providers to ensure quality patient care and adherence to medical management protocols
- Develop and manage the office budget, including monitoring expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to patient care, billing, and insurance claims
- Coordinate with external stakeholders such as hospitals, insurance companies, and regulatory agencies
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare management or a related field
- Strong knowledge of managed care principles and utilization management processes
- Experience in supervising a team of healthcare professionals
- Proficient in budgeting and financial management
- Familiarity with Dentrix or other dental practice management software is a plus
Skills:
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of hospital operations is an asset
