Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and organized Office Manager to join our team. As the Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Home Health office, ensuring efficiency and productivity in revenue cycle and patient flow. This is a key role that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively. Expert efficiency in use of EMR/Billing System (Wellsky), payer portals, Palmetto, interfaces required. Knowledge of home health operations required. Quickbooks knowledge a plus.
General Duties:
- Manage office operations and procedures, including organizing and maintaining files, supplies, and equipment
- Oversee and recruiting process and organize onboarding of new employees
- Oversee daily billing
- Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and events
- Handle incoming calls and correspondence, redirecting as necessary
- Assist with payroll processing and maintain employee records
- Manage vendor and payer relationships
- Supervise administrative staff and provide guidance and support as needed
- Maintain office policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with company standards
- Assist with budgeting and financial reporting as required
- Oversee Medical records compliance
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in home health office management or a similar role
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience monitoring and managing outsourced functions such as billing and coding
- In depth home health billing knowledge required
- Proficiency in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Experience in scheduling management is a plus
