    We are currently seeking to fill the Scheduler position.

    • Position to be performed at Modest Office, 95350.
    • Medical office background required.
    • Compensation (negotiable, based on experience, etc).
    -Opportunity to accumulate overtime.

    JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

    THE SCHEDULER ENSURES ALL VISITS ARE STAFFED FOR THE APPROPRIATE DISCIPLINES IN A TIMELY MANNER AND THAT ALL SCHEDULE CHANGES ARE RECORDED AND COMMUNICATED EFFECTIVELY.

    Key responsibilities & duties

    1. Staffs all new referrals to the appropriate clinician based upon location of the patient
    and skill of the clinician.
    2. Assists with changes in staff schedules and reassigns patients appropriately
    3. Communicates patient information to appropriate staff as needed
    4. Assigns all disciplines and clinicians in clinical point of care system
    5. Maintains on call coverage schedule
    6. Aids other administrative roles as needed, including the receptionist
    and the administrative assistant
    7. Notifies billing of non-Medicare insurance patients and their schedules as needed
    8. Schedules supervisory visits for CNAs, LVNs, and PTAS
    9. Assists with scheduling of Re-assessments for STs, OTS, and PTS
    10. Assists with all other duties as assigned

    Academic & trades qualifications

    1. Understands basic Home Health Regulations as they relate to Homecare.
    2. Exercises good communication skills in working with employees and agency contacts.
    3. Demonstrates use of basic office equipment: computer/laptop, copy machine, and fax
    machine.
    4. Capacity to learn and effectively utilize software used by Angels at Home Healthcare.
