POSITION SUMMARY:
The Office Operations Manager is responsible to support the office operations by maintaining office systems and supervising staff. The OOM is accountable for all activities and departmental operations.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
- Previous home care experience or managerial experience
- Associates degree in related field
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos,
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization,
- REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Able to track census information, delegate and manage processes, ability to utilize basic computer software integral to agency operations after initial training period. Knowledge of Department of Health rules and regulations, this is just to name a few of the expected skills and abilities.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS Of WORK:
This is a full-time exempt salaried position. You are expected to be available at all times. A start time of 9a is expected.
TRAVEL:
Local travel to various sites is required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED)
SUMMARY OF JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Oversee the office operations processes to ensure productivity and quality
- Hire caregivers, office personnel, train and supervise staff
- Ensure that the numbers and qualifications of personnel available to provide services are sufficient to meet the medical, nursing, and therapy needs of the clients
- Ensure that policies and procedures meet Federal, State, and accrediting organization’s regulations and standards
- Assist in the implementation of new and revised policy and procedures
- Assist the coordinating department with staffing issues when needed
- Assist the recruiting department with hiring processes and strategies
- Process new clients to agency service
- Educate community to the agency programs by interacting with numerous individuals and groups.
- Attend networking meetings when needed
- Measure results against standards and make necessary adjustments
- Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees
- Respond to client complaints and provide resolutions
- Respond to staff, Case Managers, Managed Long Term Care and DOHcomplaints or concerns
- Keep administrator informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports
- Maintain office staff job results by coaching, counseling and disciplining employees
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops
- Assist administrators with projects
- Participate in regulatory audits
- Manage overtime
- On call duty
