The Business Office Manager is a key department head who works directly with residents, family members, the facility’s interdisciplinary team and other team members. The business office manager will provide superior customer service and patient satisfaction in a positive, team-oriented environment.

Job Description:

· Maintain accurate resident census

· Meet with residents, families or responsible parties upon admission and discharge to explain financial obligations and paperwork

· Maintain Medicaid Pending tracking and assist residents with the Medicaid application process

· Maintain confidential files in accordance with state and federal regulations.

· Serve as backup for Accounts Payable

· Manage resident trust funds

· Directly involved in Private Pay billing and collections to include monitoring for Adjustments/refunds.

· Work with an interdisciplinary facility team as well as regional and home office resources.

· Provide Human resources functions, including recruitment and retention of Team Members

· Develop, communicate, and implement compliance programs for facility personnel policies and procedures

Job Requirement:

· 1-2 years of Skilled Nursing Facility Experience Preferred

· Very knowledgeable in Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word

· AHT software experience preferred

· Familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures

· Expert in multi-tasking and leading and directing the work of others

· Provide industry best customer service.
