Office Manager oversees and manages the daily activities of office staff to ensure efficient operations, service delivery and expense control. Develops and implements procedures and policies for all administrative activities. We are seeking a highly skilled lead dental assistant to join our dental practice. This position will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of general dentistry, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent clinical knowledge, a punctual and reliable employee.
Responsibilities:
- best chairside assistantance during procedures on patients
- booking patients and and answering phones
- sterilization and storage of instruments and supplies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical coding and documentation
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols
- Oversee inventory management for dental supplies and equipment
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in orthodontics
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an dental clinical setting
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of general systems, techniques, and procedures
- Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental practice management software
- Experience working with implants on patients is highly desirable
- Excellent understanding of infection control protocols in a dental setting
- Knowledge of medical coding for dental procedures is preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
