OFFICE SERVICES MANAGER oversees and manages the daily activities of office staff to ensure efficient operations, service delivery and expense control. Develops and implements procedures and policies for all administrative activities. Being an OFFICE SERVICES MANAGER typically manages record-keeping, document preparation, mail distribution, reception, bill or invoice processing, maintenance services, technical support, project coordination/scheduling, and other related internal operations. Oversees the selection of vendors and the purchase of office equipment and supplies. Additionally, OFFICE SERVICES MANAGER coordinates resources to troubleshoot, determine the best solutions, and solve problems. Tracks and analyzes operational costs and monitors budget. Recruits, trains, and coaches office staff to achieve optimal performance. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The OFFICE SERVICES MANAGER manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an OFFICE SERVICES MANAGER typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Installation Services Manager - Commercial Flooring

  • Continental Office is seeking an Installation Services Manager to join our Commercial Flooring team in Columbus, OH!

    What you will love to do: Work closely with Project Managers, Sales Executives and Flooring Installers/sub-contractors to ensure the quality and scope of projects meets or exceeds client expectations.

    We are looking for someone who has experience managing a team with existing knowledge of flooring installation, and the proven ability to provide feedback, perform quality control and ensure best practices are being followed on flooring install projects.

    Responsibilities:

    • Work closely with Project Managers on scope and schedule of projects
    • Assist Sales team with labor pricing
    • Perform pre-install site visits to verify conditions
    • Manage all installs with both Continental Office associates and subcontractors
    • Control labor costs and review/approve labor invoices
    • Make sound decisions under pressure
    • Quality control

    Qualifications:

    • Prior management experience is required, experience within the flooring industry preferred
    • 3 years flooring installation knowledge is required
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask
    • Capable of understanding construction blueprints and documents
    • Understanding and enforcing all safety policies and regulations
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office
    • Company vehicle provided
