We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Medical Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our medical practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical office management, financial management, and human resources. As the Medical Office Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the office, maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations, and providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the medical office, including staff supervision, scheduling, and training
- Oversee financial management, including billing, coding, and collections
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Coordinate and manage patient appointments, referrals, and follow-ups
- Maintain electronic health records using eClinicalWorks or similar software
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and workflow efficiency
- Monitor inventory levels and order medical supplies as needed
- Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional manner
- Manage human resources functions such as hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred
- Proven experience in medical office management or a similar role-3years
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with WebPT or other electronic health record systems
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
