OFFICE SERVICES MANAGER oversees and manages the daily activities of office staff to ensure efficient operations, service delivery and expense control. Develops and implements procedures and policies for all administrative activities. Being an OFFICE SERVICES MANAGER typically manages record-keeping, document preparation, mail distribution, reception, bill or invoice processing, maintenance services, technical support, project coordination/scheduling, and other related internal operations. Oversees the selection of vendors and the purchase of office equipment and supplies. Additionally, OFFICE SERVICES MANAGER coordinates resources to troubleshoot, determine the best solutions, and solve problems. Tracks and analyzes operational costs and monitors budget. Recruits, trains, and coaches office staff to achieve optimal performance. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The OFFICE SERVICES MANAGER manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an OFFICE SERVICES MANAGER typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Answer phone calls, emails & assist customers in-house
    • Manage all functions of the office environment: filing, ordering, appointment setting, correspondence, shipping management, etc.
    • Collaborate with the team to as needed regarding catalog descriptions and photos
    • Assist in communications with clients regarding the drop-off or pick up of consignments and winnings Responsible for following contract and consignment procedures when receiving consignments
    • Understand, maintain and utilize the internal inventory systems using Dropbox, Excel, etc.
    • Manage internal inventory procedures
    • Implement & oversee auction night duties
    • Perform job-related duties as assigned

    YOUR CREDENTIALS

    REQUIRED

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Fluent in English
    • Proficient utilization of research tools such as Ebay, Worthpoint, Facebook Groups, as well as an ability to utilize internet searches
    • A self-starter who can work independently while maintaining a team-player mentality. Ask lots of questions!
    • Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle high-value property responsibly and respectfully
    • Experience with Microsoft Office suite including Outlook and Excel
    • A sense of humor and a love of antiques!

    PREFERRED

    • Knowledge and passion for various forms of antiques, vintage, mid-century modern, fine art, jewelry, rare and unusual collectibles, and so much more…
    • Personal/professional experience using Craigslist, Ebay, Etsy, Poshmark, Mercari, Proxibid, and other online shopping platforms
    • Previous experience with inventory management

    FULL TIME position

    • Business hours are typically Monday through Friday 9am-4pm. No expectation to stay late.
    • 3-5 Saturdays a year, as needed
    • 3-5 Sundays a year, as needed

    Job Type: Full-time

    Schedule:
