OFFICE SERVICES MANAGER oversees and manages the daily activities of office staff to ensure efficient operations, service delivery and expense control. Develops and implements procedures and policies for all administrative activities. Being an OFFICE SERVICES MANAGER typically manages record-keeping, document preparation, mail distribution, reception, bill or invoice processing, maintenance services, technical support, project coordination/scheduling, and other related internal operations. Oversees the selection of vendors and the purchase of office equipment and supplies. Additionally, OFFICE SERVICES MANAGER coordinates resources to troubleshoot, determine the best solutions, and solve problems. Tracks and analyzes operational costs and monitors budget. Recruits, trains, and coaches office staff to achieve optimal performance. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The OFFICE SERVICES MANAGER manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an OFFICE SERVICES MANAGER typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. The work involves the employment of casework skills in obtaining essential information, counseling clients and family members, and aiding them to utilize all available resources. The work is performed in accordance with established regulations, policies, and procedures.

    Protective services involves crisis intervention to consumers who are victims or potential victims of abuse, neglect or exploitation, or who are a danger to themselves or others.

    Minimum Experience and Training

    Master's degree in human services and one year of experience performing assessments

    or

    Bachelor's degree in human services and two year of experience performing assessments

    or

    Associate's degree in human services and four years of case management experience including two years performing assessments

    or

    Six years of case management experience, including two years performing assessments; supplemented by successful completion of 12 credit hours in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology or other related behavioral sciences.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 37.5 per week
