Performs company database or system administration tasks, including data input, reporting, user support, and upgrades. The Direct Support Professional (DSP) should foster teamwork, take initiative, and be personably credible. Along with being knowledgeable about and actively support culturally competent, recovery-based practices. Be knowledgeable about person-centered planning as a shared decision making process with the individual, who defines his/her own life goals and is assisted in developing a unique path toward those goals.
Must be able to perform physical activities, including lifting up to 50lbs., transferring service recipients, walking, pushing wheelchairs, kneeling, bending, reaching and occasionally remaining on feet for long periods of time.
