Job Summary:
Advanced Equipment Sales (AES) is looking for an experienced and motivated supervisor to oversee and work alongside crews of sheet metal installers, riggers, and millwrights who erect and install industrial equipment and systems. Our systems typically integrate material handling equipment including balers, shredders, conveyors, dust collectors, and industrial fans, connected to a network of sheet metal conveyance ducting. You will direct and supervise the field crew’s daily job site activities to ensure a safe work environment and a smooth installation process. Strong communication skills, a composed demeanor, and a commitment to professionalism are critical skills for success. Local, regional, and national travel will be required.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate construction projects from start to finish
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents
- Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Manage subcontractors and ensure their work meets quality standards
- Monitor progress of construction projects and make adjustments as necessary
- Provide guidance and support to field staff, including training and development opportunities
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process
- Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily reports and documentation of change orders
