Oil and Gas Field Supervisor supervises field staff that maintains and services oil and gas production facilities. Oversees testing and monitoring of wells, pumps, storage facilities and other equipment. Being an Oil and Gas Field Supervisor is responsible for safety of staff and production facilities. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Oil and Gas Field Supervisor typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Oil and Gas Field Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be an Oil and Gas Field Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes.     PURPOSE:

    Responsible for all drilling or plugging and well intervention activities, and for the health & safety of all personnel working within their team.The Tool Pusher assumes responsibility for all drilling rig modules and equipment. In charge of ensuring the rig has all necessary tools, equipment, and supplies. They work closely with the representative of the operating/exploration company in regard to the actual drilling of the well.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • 7 years experience as Tool Pusher - Non-negotiable.
    • 5 years of Field Supervisor - Non-negotiable.
    • Must be able to legally work and reside in the US without sponsorship

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Supervise the drilling operations and associated activities and ensure that they are in accordance with the well program
    • Ensure that drilling operations are carried out in a safe, efficient and productive manner
    • Reports to the CEO
    • Review and prepare Problem Well Reports, Incident Reports, Non-personnel Accident Reports
    • Provide Drillers and crewmembers help and guidance as needed
    • Ensure activities are conducted in compliance with permits and drilling program
    • Assist Drillers in delegating work for crewmembers and follow through
    • Manage all assigned equipment maintenance and communicate maintenance requirements and issues to Operations and Equipment Management

    Pay: $42 - $50 an hour

    Experience:

    • 7 years experience as Tool Pusher - Non-negotiable.
    • 5 years of Field Supervisor - Non-negotiable.
    • Must be able to legally work and reside in the US without sponsorship
    • Oil & Gas: 10 year (Required)

    License/Certification:

    • Driver's License (Required)

    Work Location: On-Site

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $38.00 - $42.00 per hour

    Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
