Supervises and directs employees involved in production, drilling, maintenance, and/or construction through foreman and other lead staff. Being an Oil and Gas Superintendent requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Oil and Gas Superintendent manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be an Oil and Gas Superintendent typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. The HSE (Health, Safety and Environmental) Technician is responsible for maintaining all NNOGC properties and preventive maintenance, including but not limited to maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, other facilities and limited security responsibilities. In addition, the Technician will assist with implementation of health, safety and environmental policies, procedures and guidelines for the employee and department safety.
