Oil and Gas Superintendent oversees daily oil and gas operations activities at multiple facilities. Supervises and directs employees involved in production, drilling, maintenance, and/or construction through foreman and other lead staff. The Oil and Gas Superintendent manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function.   • The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for operating the retail store during the assigned shift. This person is responsible for providing fast, friendly, sincere, and immediate service to all customers. Handle transactions in a fast, accurate manner without errors while operating the cash register and credit card equipment to complete sales. Receiving fuel and store product inventory. CSRs are also responsible for keeping shelves, displays, and merchandisers full and priced correctly. Maintaining a clean store facility, inside and outside, at all times. Consistently maintaining a clean, well-groomed appearance and wearing the authorized store uniform and name tag.

    Responsibilities Include:

    Provide Superior Customer Service:

    • Greet customers with a friendly smile and provide prompt, courteous service.
    • Offer assistance and handle customer comments, complaints, or suggestions according to customer service guidelines.
    • Develop and maintain customer relationships by recognizing the regular customers as well as the new customers – learning their names and remembering what their favorite items are.
    • Execute the 5-step transaction process with each customer – Greeting, Quick Transaction, Suggestive Sell, Correct Change, and Thank You.
    • Be knowledgeable at all times about sale items and store promotions.

    Store Tasks & Responsibilities:

    • Complete specific tasks as assigned by the Store Manager.
    • Observe shift operating hours at all times and follow the work schedule as posted – unless a change in schedule is arranged with the Store Manager.
    • Responsible for accurate inventory control and safeguarding company assets.
    • Protect company assets at all times by following control policies.
    • Perform loss prevention activities by observing suspicious conduct by customer, vendors, or other CSRs and act upon it according to store policy.
    • Price, stock, and rotate products, as well as check code dates.
    • Refuse to sell alcoholic beverages to customers during restricted hours or to those who are underage or intoxicated.
    • Follow the laws and guidelines in the sale of tobacco products to underage customers.
    • Perform inventory counts on departments assigned by the Store Manager or Assistant Manager.
    • Follow store procedures when working with vendors, including checking-in product deliveries and verifying quantities.
    • Complete the daily shift assignments and shift closeout procedures.
    • Maintain store cleanliness standards both inside and outside the facility including cleaning display cases, shelves, beverage areas, restrooms, aisles, gasoline pumps, and property grounds.
    • Assist in ensuring all store equipment is functioning properly and receiving proper preventative maintenance checks.
    • Brew coffee and keep the coffee area clean and well stocked.
    • Follow proper safety techniques/guidelines and encourage others to do the same.
    • Set up advertising signs and display merchandise on shelves, counters, coolers, freezers, or tables to attract customers and promote sales.
    • Scan or ring up customer total merchandise selection at the register and accept cash or credit card for purchases.
    • Other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Store Manager.

    Technical Expertise:

    • Become knowledgeable on the different procedures for customer to dispense and pay for fuel at the pump, so you can assist customers when needed.
    • Monitor (and stick when required) fuel tanks, including checking for water.
    • Clean fuel dispensers as required.
    • Oversee emergency procedures for fuel dispensers as required.

    Communication:

    • Advise Store Manager of any personnel situations or policy violations.
    • Report all accidents, maintenance issues, and customer incidents to the Store Manager immediately and complete proper paperwork.
    • Communicate, as policy dictates, when unable to work a scheduled shift.

    • Must be able to speak, read, understand, and write the English language at the high school level.
    • Must have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions.
    • Ability to resolve job-related problems in a professional manner.
    • Ability to keep organized and has good time management capabilities.

    Other Skills:

    • Must be able to work alone, as well as with others.
    • Must have good personal hygiene.
    • Must be dependable, including reporting for work on time.
    • Must have high levels of integrity and honesty.
    • Must be safety conscious and flexible – ability to adapt to change.
    • Must be able to work the days and hours required, based on the demands of the business and the store.

    • Must be able to tolerate gasoline fumes and cleaning products.
    • Must be able to enter and work in a cooler at the temperature of 30 degrees (or below) for up to 35 minutes at a time.
    • Must be able to stretch, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and to stand for a minimum of eight hours at a time.
    • Must be able to lift and stock cases of products that can weigh up to 50 pounds.
    • Must be able to speak, hear, taste, and smell.
    • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
