Oilwell Pumper is responsible for daily upkeep and maintenance of oil wells. Operates oil production and injection equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures. Being an Oilwell Pumper reports and interprets metrics such as volume and pressure of gas and oil within the well. Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion. Additionally, Oilwell Pumper requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Oilwell Pumper works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. NOV Cedar Park Texas is recruiting for a Warehouser. As the Warehouser, you will receive, identify, store, distribute, inventory, pick, pack, and ship materials, supplies, components, and equipment in the most efficient manner. This is a day shift work.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in Shipping or Receiving when needed.
Read appropriate warehouse documentation to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed or shipped.
Move inventory / items to appropriate areas.
Record amounts of materials or items moved into computer database.
Assist in conducting physical inventories and cycle counts.
Assist with maintaining inventory records by posting materials received and disbursed, writing shortage lists and distributing them as required.
Maintain the warehouse in a clean, orderly and safe manner.
Responsible for operating the warehouse machinery in a safe manner and reporting any equipment maintenance or problems to your immediate supervisor.
Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
Additional Information
Usual workday length is 8-10 hours which will consist of standing, sitting, kneeling bending, pushing / pulling twisting, overhead reaching and lifting a maximum weight of 40 pounds.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED
Preferably 1 - 2 years of experience in warehouse environment which includes Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory Control.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS :
Willingness to be cross trained
Computer literate (word, excel, and outlook), a plus
Shipping and receiving experience, a plus
Inventory background (cycle count), a plus
Forklift experience, a plus
