Oilwell Pumper is responsible for daily upkeep and maintenance of oil wells. Operates oil production and injection equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures. Being an Oilwell Pumper reports and interprets metrics such as volume and pressure of gas and oil within the well. Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion. Additionally, Oilwell Pumper requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Oilwell Pumper works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Oilfield Pumper is required to do the following tasks -
Gauge Tank Battery, check and maintain production equipment and vessels including but not limited to Free water knock out, Dehyd, compressor, separator, pumps, heater treaters, etc. The pumper will also be required to be experienced and familiar with troubleshooting minor issues on pumping units/pumpjacks, operate triplex pumps, and other oil and gas facility equipment.
Contractor shall maintain a cell phone, internet, and fax services at all the times from his home base, prepare and deliver, via email/fax, daily gauge reports, daily reports, daily cost data, oil sales tickets, well tests, well fluid levels, well down reports, and all other daily information related to the wells, batteries, facilities and so forth. Contractor shall retain and pay for, at his cost and expense, any relief pumper needed to perform Contractor’s duties when Contractor must be absent from the daily duties.
