    GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
    Reporting to the Vice President of Enrollment Management, the Assistant Director of Online Admissions and Alumni Relations assists to direct, manage and supervise all activities and functions for the recruitment, admission, and enrollment of students into Northeast College of Health Sciences online programs. This position supports the Vice President of Enrollment Management in planning, coordinating, and evaluating all online programs in order to meet/exceed established online program enrollment goals. The role also will assist the Director of Alumni Relations in developing, implementing, and maintaining an alumni relations program to foster and strengthen relationships between Northeast College of Health Sciences and alumni of all programs. The Assistant Director will support admissions events to establish and maintain relationships with alumni and encourage collaboration with alumni and prospective students.

    Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for overseeing the enrollment process for online programs.
    • Recommends and assists VP of Enrollment Management with recruitment and enrollment efforts for the online programs.
    • Serves on the admissions leadership team and contributes to the strategic enrollment management plan.
    • Supports the strategic marketing and recruitment plan for online programs by reviewing reports, and providing analysis and recommendations.
    • Meet regularly with online admissions staff and Program Deans/Directors to collaborate on recruitment and enrollment strategies.
    • Maintain positive working relationships with online program personnel and student support offices including but not limited to Financial Aid, Registrar, Student Services, and Student Accounts.
    • Meet regularly with VP of Enrollment Management to provide updates on recruitment and enrollment strategies and keeps VP apprised of statuses and any issues surrounding the admission processing of prospective online students.
    • Cultivate and nurture relationships with alumni of the college to foster a sense of community and engagement.
    • Travel to various recruitment, admission and community-based events to market programs to prospective students.
    • Travel and participate in conventions where Northeast College is represented.
    • Undertake special projects as requested by the VP of Enrollment Management.
    • Participate in College committees.
    • Engage in ongoing professional development activities.

    Methods of Accountability:
    • Verbal and written communications with the VP of Enrollment Management.
    • Faculty, staff and student feedback.
    • Compliance with College policies and procedures.
    • Performance evaluations by the VP of Enrollment Management.

    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
    • Three to five years of graduate admissions/alumni relations experience or similar transferrable experience required.
    • Experience in higher education administration, business administration or a related field.
    • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, analytical and communication skills.
    • Ability to analyze data and exercise sound decision-making; responsible administrative judgement.
    • Strong leadership and training skills.
    • Professional demeanor.
    • Basic proficiency in PC use and Microsoft Office programs and database system.
    • Ability to manage a fast-paced, multi-task work environment.
    • Occasional travel required.
    • Ability to carry and transport admission materials, displays and other equipment.
    • Ability to work evening and weekend hours on occasion.

    NOTE:
    Due to the driving/travel requirements, this position is subject to the College’s Motor Vehicle Use Policy and the employee will be required to sign a release for a Motor Vehicle Report upon hire. This release will remain in effect through the duration of employment unless revoked in writing. Motor Vehicle Report checks are conducted annually by the College.
