Our facility is in need of a Retail/Home Health Pharmacy Manager – PIC 

The Pharmacist-In-Charge (PIC) of new retail pharmacy and home infusion service. This position will develop tools and processes to support the day-to-day operations, customer support, reimbursement, and growth for the pharmacy. Pharmacist clinical activities include therapy assessment, care planning and medication reconciliation as they pertain to individual patients and the appropriate monitoring for effective care and positive patient outcome.  

Qualifications :

· Pharmacist license in good standing in the state of Georgia 

· BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D degree 

· 1 year of experience working in hospital or home infusion setting 

Knowledge of: 

• Principles and practices involved in compounding and dispensing of prescriptions. 
• Pharmaceuticals, drugs and narcotics. 
• Calculation of doses and the preparation and use of percentage and stock solutions. 
• Clinical applications involving parenteral and compounded therapies. 
• SNF Reimbursement systems including PDPM, Medicare Part B/D and Medicaid or the ability to develop an understanding of each. 
• JCAHO principles and guidelines. 
• Inventory Control and related record keeping. 
• Compliance with external regulatory agencies and organizations for all areas of responsibility.
