Position Summary:
The Nurse Manager is responsible for the coordination of the overall operations of an assigned unit(s) to include the provision of resources and an environment that facilitates optimal, cost efficient patient care delivery. This position defines and monitors the standards of patient care and nursing practice, ensures availability and appropriate utilization of needed human and material resources, supports collaboration between nursing, physicians, and other disciplines to achieve desired patient outcomes. Major decisions are subject to the review and approval of the Clinical Director. This position requires extensive internal and external contacts. Internal contacts are with all levels of staff and management. External contacts include physicians, physician office staff, outside health care providers and organizations, vendors, and management from other health care facilities and agencies.
Minimum Requirements:
Five years of clinical experience in professional or technical role/function
Three years of experience in a supervisory or lead capacity within an Operating Room setting
Consideration may be given to internal candidates not meeting the minimum qualifications
Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or obtained within three years from the initial date of hire.
Advanced Degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred
Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington
Additional Information:
Exceptional communication skills required, both written and verbal.Minimum of one year of related OR Manager experience, and additional leadership experience within another Perioperative department, strongly preferred.CNOR strongly preferred.

N09 - Min: $69.32-Max: $96.24
