Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. As a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care during surgical procedures. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the success of our surgical team and ensure the safety and well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare operating rooms for surgery, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available

- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments, sutures, and supplies

- Monitor patients' vital signs and assist with anesthesia administration

- Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room and adhere to infection control protocols

- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth workflow and efficient patient care

- Provide post-operative care, including monitoring patients' recovery and administering medications as needed

- Document patient information, including surgical procedures, medications administered, and vital signs

Experience:

To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience and qualifications:

- Valid Registered Nurse license in [state]

- Minimum of one years of experience working in an operating room setting

- Proficiency in specimen collection processing and handling

- Strong knowledge of infection control practices

- Familiarity with medical imaging equipment and interpretation

- Experience in acute pain management techniques

- Experience with Total Joint procedures

- Skill in IV insertion and management

- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy rights
