    Cambridge International Systems, Inc. has a full-time Programmer opportunity available based in Charleston, SC , with an opportunity to travel to locations worldwide. DOD Secret clearance required/desired; Proof of US citizenship is contractually required due to the nature of the job.

    This position requires AMX and/or Crestron programming experience.

    ROLE RESPONSIBILTIES

    • Assist with the design, development and implementation of audio visual solutions to support a wide range of military projects.  This includes room control systems, video teleconferencing, audio digital signal processing, matrix video and audio switchers, video walls, streaming AV, digital signage, cameras, and large displays.
    • AMX and/or Crestron programming, to include code generation and touch panel builds.
    • Follow and red-line design drawings for as-built package generation.
    • Assist project teams with producing project deliverables.
    • Assist with Pre-Installation and Check Out (PITCO) activities.
    • Must be able to work with a team or individually.
    • Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and written.

    Required QUALIFICATIONS

    • 5-7 years of experience and expert knowledge within the Audio/Visual industry.
    • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
    • A strong understanding of video, sound, teleconferencing, and control systems.

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Must possess an active DoD Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
    • CTS Certification
    • Thinklogical 300 Certification
    • AMX Programmer 1 & 2
    • Crestron Certification

    TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

    • Active Passport.
    • Ability to travel up to 70%, both CONUS and OCONUS.
    • In rare/some occasions, overnight travel may be required.

    PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT AND WORKING CONDITIONS

    Cambridge International Systems complies with Temporary Duty Station (TDY)/Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) vaccination requirements.  If this position requires OCONUS travel (listed above), Vaccine Recommendations by AOR | Health.mil lists out applicable current vaccination requirements by location.

    • Must be able to work in an office and industrial environment.
    • Must be able to lift and move materials not to exceed the guidelines set for a one-man lift.
    • Must be able to work at above normal elevations.
      • Standard ladder heights (6’, 8’, 10’ and 12’) as well as scaffolding, boom lifts and scissor lifts.
    • Must be able to perform site visits and carry a laptop computer and other required tools.
