Our company is growing rapidly and is looking for a CMM programmer. Please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications. While this is our ideal list, we will consider candidates that do not necessarily have all of the qualifications, but have sufficient experience and talent.
Responsibilities for CMM programmer
• Prepare CMM programs as required to CAD data and or prints for component parts and assemblies
• Performs first off, in-process & end-of-run report
• Performs ballooning of customer prints/drawings
• Performs layout of checking fixtures
• Performs any other layout according to the layout request, issues reports
• Reviews layout with responsible product and quality engineer
• Prepares data for the PPAP submission as requested
• Participate and assist in problem solving & analysis.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications for CMM programmer
• Actively participate in APQP Process especially in Gauge and Fixture design
• Performs required incoming inspections based on the “Receiving incoming Inspection logs”
• Any other duties as assigned by the Director of Quality and Lead.
• Personal computer (Microsoft, Word, Excel)
• CMM, measuring devices
• CMM software
