POSITION SUMMARY: Price Industries, Inc is looking for a CNC Programming Manager.

This role is tasked with working in close concert with Production Leadership and Engineering to increase productivity and optimize CNC laser/turret punch programs and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up, program and verify new processes utilizing Amada AP100 as a programming tool.
• Propose required tooling and test equipment.
• Provide internal technical training and technical support services as required.
• Employ critical thinking, logic and reasoning to troubleshoot and solve problems.
• Perform reverse engineering & prototyping.
• Liaison with customers and suppliers.
• Work in conjunction with Production as necessary to understand priorities.
• Investigate new methods of manufacturing or technology to improve current processes, Increase capacity and output and meet long term production goals.

• Develop and initiate cost reduction programs.

REQUIREMENTS (Job Knowledge/Skill, Education and related experience)

• College degree or certification in manufacturing technology
• Strong leadership skills

• Minimum 5 years of CNC Programming of lasers, turret presses and/or press brakes in a manufacturing environment is a must.

• Proficiency with SolidWorks and AutoCAD design software packages.
• Proficiency with Amada AP100 software is required (must be able to train and guide the CNC Programming team)

Strong mathematical and technical skills: Geometry, trigonometry, drawings interpret
