Operating Systems Programming Manager jobs in Bangor, ME
Operating Systems Programming Manager oversees a staff responsible for the development, installation, and modification of computer operating systems. Develops policies and procedures related to the deployment and maintenance of the organization's operating systems. Being an Operating Systems Programming Manager explores the future operating system needs of the organization and provides technical leadership to the operating team. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Additionally, Operating Systems Programming Manager typically reports to a top management. The Operating Systems Programming Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be an Operating Systems Programming Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Millinocket Regional Hospital has an immediate opening for a full time Operating Room Manager.
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. Minimum of three years clinical experience in Perioperative Nursing. Knowledge of Regulatory and Professional Standards in the Perioperative Department. Must have the ability to function in all aspects of the Operating Room. Licensure in the State of Maine as a Registered Nurse. Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred or willing to obtain within two years of hire. BLS, ACLS, PALS required or willing to obtain within six months of hire.
Main Function: Maintain management of OR staff and scheduling. Must have good communication skills. Promote quality improvement within the department. Participates in the development and implementation of hospital policies and procedures. Understanding, maintaining, and developing a budget for the department.
GENERAL INFORMATION: Full Time Position, Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
