Reporting to the Nurse Director Perioperative Services, the Nurse Manager Operating Room will oversee all clinical and administrative operations of the surgical department. This unit currently operates 5 ORs and specializes in a wide variety of surgical procedures. The Nurse Manager has oversight of department staffing, participates in recruitment, monitors and evaluates staff performance, develops training plans, implements departmental policies and procedures, works to ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, manages department budgets, and participates in various hospital committees.
