Security Officer

Job Description : As a Court Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment within the courthouse premises.

Your primary duties will include :

• Providing security screening for individuals entering the courthouse, including bag checks and metal detection.
• Monitoring courthouse facilities to prevent unauthorized access and ensuring compliance with security protocols.
• Responding to security incidents and emergencies in a prompt and professional manner.
• Collaborating with law enforcement agencies and court personnel to address security concerns and maintain order.
• Providing assistance and information to courthouse visitors as needed.

Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in security and / or law enforcement.
• Ability to communicate effectively and interact professionally with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
• Armed private security license or able to obtain an armed license.

Schedule : This position offers a flexible schedule of 4 to 5 days per week, with shifts typically ranging from Monday through Friday, 8am to 4pm.
