Operations Clerk provides clerical/administrative support to the operations group. Enters, compiles, and validates data using simple math as needed. Being a Operations Clerk performs clerical production activities such as proof, reconciliation, and posting. Prepares basic correspondence, forms and other documents as needed. Additionally, Operations Clerk may help research and resolve basic operational problems. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Operations Clerk works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job.
