Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic individual to help in getting Stout Equipment to the next level. As the Director of Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our company's operations, including process improvement, project management, business development, and strategic planning. This is a senior leadership role that requires strong managerial skills and the ability to drive operational excellence.
As an up and coming leader in the OEM space, Stout Conveyors is looking to branch out and grow Stout Equipment (sister company). An opportunity to represent dozens of the top OEM brands in the state of Colorado or surrounding states. This individual should have a stong background in the construction or aggregate space and be willing and not affraid to put boots on the ground and learn about new technologies in the aggregate space. This will be a high risk, high reward opportunity.
Duties:
-Manage all sales and push for new relationships with new customers. - Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness
- Take ownership in implimenting and enrolling new operations and direction
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions
- Drive business development initiatives to expand our customer base and increase revenue
- Provide leadership and guidance to department heads, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance
- Conduct regular reviews of operational processes to identify opportunities for optimization
- Collaborate with executive team members to develop and execute strategic plans
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
- Proven experience in senior leadership roles, preferably in operations management
- Strong background in process improvement methodologies
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
