Oversees a company’s organizational processes and adds improvements to it. Their main duties include assisting the human resources team in the recruiting and hiring process, implementing policies and strategies to improve productivity and efficiency levels, and building an enjoyable company culture.


    Role and Responsibilities:

    • Ensures strict compliance with safety policies, trains and implements safety programs, ensures safety equipment resources are available and properly tested, acts as a safety liaison with customers.
    • Assures the security and effective allocation of company resources and assets.
    • Identify and develop prospective new customers.
    • Develop forwarding looking profit plan and monthly forecasts with accuracy so that the operation meets these numbers on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
    • Assure an effective and skilled staff through recruiting, assessment of talent, training & development, goal setting, communications, performance appraisal, and conformance to applicable company policies.
    • Provide leadership and direction to ensure professional growth for employees and retention.
    • Responsible for procurement, efficient execution of services being offered / cost control, leveraging subcontractors, inventory management, managing receivables and backlog of projects.
    • Effectively manages diverse and dispersed field-based workforce in assigned geographic territory, which may include multiple office locations.
    • Responsible for office building issues
    • Maintain constant communication with managers, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the company.
    • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols.
    • Manage data collection for the updating of metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service.
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve proprietary tools and systems.
    • Handles escalation procedures in accordance with our 24/7 service business.
    • Contribute to the division product/process improvement initiatives.

    Qualifications and Education Requirements:

    • 7 or more years of proven success in an operations management role
    • BS in Business preferred.
    • Prior P&L Management
    • Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of branch operations and customer service.
    • Proficiency in conflict management and business negotiation processes
    • Knowledge of business productivity software and an aptitude for learning new applications
    • Strong IT skills, including database development.
    • Multiple years of financial and account reporting experience
