The Operation Manager position is the “Lead Ambassador” in charge of all aspects of our programs including personnel, budget, equipment and deployment. This role works directly with our clients and customers to not only to deliver daily services throughout the district, but also deliver continual program improvements as well.
This is a great opportunity for someone that has a special blend of strong leadership, great work ethic, executive budgeting skills, customer service, and business management skills. We need a leader that will take pride in their employees and community.
This is (small) team with lots of moving parts. Our most successful leaders are diverse in skills, are versatile in every way and can quickly work to solve problems. We need an independent thinker with a strong understanding of people management, client management, strategy, project management and deadlines.
Specific daily responsibilities of the Operations Manager may include:
·Onboarding and training of all new Ambassadors. Create a culture that would make everyone want to join your team!
Hands-on working management in the field to provide coaching, mentoring, and continuous training on standard policies and procedures
Continual adjustments to the deployment of resources to match changing needs. This includes resources of the “humankind.” Basically, redeploying according to daily needs.
· Continual problem identification and solving to improve the quality of the program. Problem solving is a very big part of what our General Managers do. (We need an innovator to lead our teams in our downtowns.)
· Reporting outcomes through a variety of reporting channels; (This means spreadsheets, Kronos Timekeeping, Budgets…you get the idea.
