Detailed Description
Position Summary:
Set priorities and direction for the Operations Analysis Team. Supervise the Operations Analysts. Research, gather, integrate, analyze, and present data from disparate systems for internal and external reporting. Find and use the best available methods and models to develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs). Conduct decision-support analyses based on performance indicators to develop and support process improvement plans and performance management programs. Provide expert consultation, advice, and instruction to RTA employees in other departments who have analytical responsibilities (e.g., District Business Analyst, Risk Analyst II). Cultivate authority-wide analytical capability by advocating for and implementing best practices across all business units.
Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
Must have a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a similar field. Must have a minimum of seven to nine years of related work experience. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills, advanced-level Excel skills (data modeling, formulas), intermediate SQL querying, and familiarity with Crystal Reports. Must have an advanced understanding of transit-specific performance measures.
