Operations Research Analysis Manager manages a team of operations research analysts to collect and analyze data to evaluate operational difficulties and make recommendations to solve problems. Identifies inefficiencies and analyzes and reports solutions to correct inefficiencies. Being an Operations Research Analysis Manager acts as advisor to operations research team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Operations Research Analysis Manager typically reports to the head of a unit/department. The Operations Research Analysis Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. The Project Manager-Balance will lead or assist in the balancing of Steam Turbines, Gas Turbines, and Generators, focusing on hands-on involvement.
Requirements
- Collaborate with hourly workforce for task completion with minimal direction.
- Execute production plans prioritizing Safety and Quality.
- Prepare drawings and process instructions.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and hydraulic equipment.
- Operate and troubleshoot PLC systems.
- Contribute as a team member in mechanical assemblies.
- Supervise, operate, and troubleshoot complex systems.
- Perform the balancing of power generation equipment.
Preferrd Qualifications:
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to apply knowledge to hands-on solutions.
- Excellent mathematical skills.
- Availability for night and weekend work as required.
- Effective team collaboration skills.
