    This position is 2nd shift. The hours for this position are Monday – Friday from 3:30pm to 1:00am.

    Roles and Responsibilities:
    • Direct the efficient function of plant operations, including daily supervision of up to 30 warehouse employees
    • Provide leadership to direct reports, including coaching and counselling employees as necessary
    • Understand production and quality goals; implement actions necessary to meet objectives
    • Supervise the filling of time-sensitive orders and coordinate shipments
    • Provide daily reporting
    • Ensure all required training is completed and oversee completion of training checklist
    • Understand customer requirements, participate and advise on decisions regarding suitability of material and processing capabilities
    • Provide direction and coaching on safe work practices and support safety goals
    • Review unsafe conditions and ensure corrective actions are carried out to eliminate workplace hazards
    • All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice

    • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
    • 3 - 5 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting
    • Knowledge in cut to length, grinding, slitting, polishing and waterjets is an asset
    • Sound knowledge of various employment laws (i.e. OHSA) and government regulations (i.e. DOT)
    • Trained and certified to use a fork lift and crane, as well as first aid certified
    • Proficient knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
    • Demonstrated verbal, written and interpersonal skills
    • Effective problem solving and decision making skills
