Summary Description:
Hotel Operations Supervisor is responsible for the overall operations of the hotel services which include Front Desk, Call Center and Reservations, Gift Shop and Boutique. The incumbent in this position will be responsible for developing an environment that creates excitement for our guests and associates, promoting and retaining highly skilled associates to effectively manage shifts of operation of all Hotel Front Desk, Call Center/Reservations, Bell Services, Transportation, Valet, Golf, Pool, Gift Shop and Boutique. Will assist with monitoring the day-to-day operations and ensure outstanding service is being provided and resolves complaints quickly.
Job Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age.
An associate’s degree in a business management related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
Two or more years of leadership experience in planning, scheduling and directing the work of others.
Must have excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to assume a role of authority as necessary; set an example for coworkers; observing work and providing constructive feedback to others.
Ability to control one’s own time and time of direct reports.
Ability to demonstrate a high level of service delivery to do what is necessary to ensure customer satisfaction; deal with service failures and prioritize customer needs.
Strong computer skills to include effective working knowledge of LMS, CVPS, Microsoft Office Products and working knowledge of various information support systems.
Ability to operate various types of office equipment including, but not limited to; personal computers, printers, calculators, copy machines, FAX machines, telephone, and other departmental related systems.
Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
