Job Summary

• The Clinical Research Supervisor is responsible for coordinating the daily work of the research study team. 
• Coordinates research study communication and workflow to ensure efficiency of study execution. 
• Assists with the development and implementation of education and training for staff and ensuring high quality work amongst research study team. 
• Will conduct research study visits with participants. 
• Assists Research Manager in overall research team management.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training and promoting development within the research study team; planning, assigning, and coordinating research study team work; communicating problems to research manager and assisting with problem resolution. 
• The research supervisor must have high quality decision-making skills, excellent communication skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university within the health and science field required or Master’s degree in health related field preferred
• Five or more years of research and/or child development/assessment experience preferred
• Clinic or management experience and/or training preferred

Certification, Licensure, Registration

• This position requires a valid driver’s license and that the employee is insurable by the Avera Health automobile liability insurance carrier.

Work Schedule

• Monday - Friday; 80 hours every 2 weeks
  • Day shift with occasional evenings
  • Occasional weekend
  • Occasional holiday

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. 

• $27.50 - $41.50 per hour
