Overview:
The Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) seeks experienced operations support professionals for multiple Integrated Research Operations Support positions to meet expanding needs for operational excellence to accomplish the ORNL cutting-edge scientific research mission. These positions will work as part of an integrated team that has responsibility for operations and facility management tasks associated with work control and facility operations in support of science and engineering activities. Additionally, these positions will provide operational and project management support to research staff to maintain compliance with all applicable Federal and State laws, DOE Orders, and ORNL policies and procedures regarding safety, environmental protection, space utilization, chemical management, and procurement support. These positions reside in the Integrated Research Operations Support group in the Safety & Operations Support Division and will be matrixed to support one of the eight R&D directorates.

Work involves various physical requirements and working conditions. As such, a pre-hire physical will be required after offer.
Q clearance:
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a clearance from the Department of Energy. As such, this position is a Workplace Substance Abuse (WSAP) testing designated position. WSAP positions require passing a pre-placement drug test and participation in an ongoing random drug testing program.
