Section 715 Throwing Co. is a small business with 3 locations. This location is for Wausau, WI. We are professional, innovative and our goal is to create a unique, fun, safe, and fast-growing entertainment experience that offers axe throwing opportunities to adults of all ages and families including children 8 years and over. We welcome you into a rustic urban setting that puts guest at ease and encourages socialization. Guests are warmly greeted and are introduced to the Axe throwing concept. .

We are currently looking for an Axe Throwing Coach $12-$15 plus tips/hr
Our coaches will need to deliver a safe and entertaining experience for our guests! You will have a multitude of responsibilities as you will be providing the absolute BEST guest experience
Responsibilities: Share and engage our customers in a fun but professional manner You will be assisting guests in learning to throw an axe safely and correctly, so that they will be able to enjoy the activity themselves. (we’ll train you on the proper techniques) You will be in charge of setting up the lanes and delivering the rules and set up while giving them updates on how much time is left so that they can clear out on time for our next group of axe throwers! As a large part of our bookings will be done in advance, we will accept walk-ins if we are not fully booked. You will be responsible for checking guests in, processing payment and ensuring all participants have signed the correct waivers.
Safety is our first priority- You will be in charge of ensuring all equipment is up to standard and safe during your shift, ensuring that all customers are following our safety rules and procedures at all times, and offering first response if necessary. You will be assisting in taking calls and questions about bookings and private events. Set-up and Clean-up. The usual so that our facility stays absolutely immaculate!
Qualifications: Must LOVE people and throwing things (don't worry we will teach you how it's done properly!) Communication is KEY!!!- You will be constantly engaging our customers-humor is always a plus as your job is to ensure ALL guests enjoy their experience at Section 715 Leadership Skills- You must display high confidence and be able to manage group dynamics Problem solving and quick thinking is a must! As you will be dealing with a wide range of personalities, you must be able to engage and conquer all types of circumstances
Must be physically able to maintain/change out boards on the targets Ability to lift and carry wood and other items up to 10-15 lbs Must be 18 and be able to obtain Bartender's License Must have reliable transportation
Nights and Weekends Variable a MUST/Part-Time
