Operations Specialist jobs in Cedar Rapids, IA

Green Counseling Services, PLLC is seeking a full-time (40 hours per week) Operations Specialist to join our expanding team in Iowa City, IA. We are a growing practice dedicated to providing high quality mental health services including individual therapy, family therapy, couples counseling, group therapy, medication management, mental health research, and community outreach services.

We are seeking applicants who are highly skilled communicators and supportive team members who are effective at multitasking in a variety of operations and administrative support roles. Roles include:

- Assisting medication managers with administrative clinical tasks

- Attending staff, administrative, and research meetings to track attendance and to take meeting notes

- Supporting leadership team members with administrative, research, and operations tasks

- Fielding incoming calls to assist with client scheduling and intake

- Assisting with billing operations

- Assisting with data analytic tasks to evaluate quality of care

- Assisting with credentialing of clinical providers

- Supporting marketing efforts

- Coordinating facilities management efforts as needed

- Assisting with clinical research trials in an administrative and data analytic role

- Assisting with community initiative efforts with coordination of community events to support local non-profits in each of our markets

- Traveling 1-2x per month to other Iowa practice locations to assist with team building, operations, and facilities oversight

- Working alongside the team to ensure other optimal daily operations.

Required Qualifications:

- An undergraduate Bachelor degree in Psychology, Social Work, Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Accounting, Political Science, Human Health and Physiology, Neuroscience, Biology, Data Analytics, or a related field is required

-Impeccable interpersonal skills and the ability to work cooperatively in a team environment is required

-Ability to actively engage in many different roles and different types of tasks throughout the day given the diverse skillset required in this position

- Proficiency using Excel/Google Sheets and other Google Drive applications

- Previous experience with data analytic software including SPSS or R

- Our ideal candidate is dependable and detail oriented and flourishes in an environment where recurring weekly tasks are completed in a highly efficient, accurate, and timely manner.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bilingual or multilingual candidates (preference for Spanish speaking candidates)

- Previous experience with clinical research

- Previous billing or accounting experience

- The ability to learn new programs, such as practice management software and invoicing systems

- Comfort with developing and implementing print and social media marketing
