Operations Supervisor supervises the daily activities of an operational unit. Monitors and assists staff to maintain workflow and achieve targeted operational and financial results. Being an Operations Supervisor implements practices to ensure compliance with operational policies and procedures. Resolves routine operational issues and escalates complex issues as needed. Additionally, Operations Supervisor prepares performance and progress reports for management to monitor and improve inefficiencies. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Operations Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an Operations Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Responsibilities:
- Support the Operations Manager with the day-to-day responsibilities in the market
- 60-80% of your time will be hands-on, manual work to include:
- Direct labor and warehouse organization
- Hand-count assets and compliance audits
- Perform routine inspection and maintenance of vehicles
- Respond to on-demand and in the field customer service requests
- Redistribute scooters around Veo’s service areas
- Identify, document and recover scooters requiring in-shop repair
- Ad-hoc field tasks and other tasks as required
- 20-40% of your time will consist of a variety of administrative work to include:
- Support Operations Manager with hiring, training, scheduling staff
- Employee productivity tracking
- SOP follow-up
- Assist Operations Manager with other projects as needed
