Don't just fly S.O.A.R with a team that cares! We are currently seeking an RT Unit Manager to join our team of dedicated professionals who want to make a difference in the lives of our residents, their families and our community.

This position will provide leadership, direction, and oversight to their unit.

RT Unit Manager

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Assist with patient’s examinations and/or questions.
• Implement and interpret organizational policies and procedures, and regulations.
• Ensure competent delivery of all respiratory care procedures
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation of respiratory care services
• Verify respiratory care physician’s orders and document appropriately in the plan of care.
• Perform clinical assessments and maintain a working knowledge of respiratory care instruments, equipment and care procedures (i.e. airway management, CPR, mechanical ventilation, blood gas collection).
• Perform troubleshooting with appropriate problem resolution.
• Maintain effective communication with staff and physicians while maintaining patient confidentiality
• Educate staff on respiratory therapy policies and procedure

Requirements:

• Must have strong management skills

• Must have prior nurse management experience

• RN license preferred

• Respiratory experice preferred- willing to train the right candidate
