Ophthalmic Technician jobs in Elyria, OH

Busy Ophthalmology practice has an opening for a full time Ophthalmic Technician / COA / LPN / Medical Assistant.

Employee will be responsible for assisting provider with patient care, testing and data entry. Daily tasks include, but not limited to, initiating patient exams, measuring and recording visual stats, conducting diagnostic specialized testing, administrating dilating drops, performing intraocular pressure checks, recording patient's health history and assisting with minor procedures.

Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented office and willingness to be cross-trained with multiple physicians is a must. Candidate must have excellent communication and accurate computer skills to become part of our team. Must be detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task.

LPN's may be cross trained to work Pre and Post-Op in our Ambulatory surgery center.

Experience preferred; but will train the right candidate.
