Kirk Eye Center is hiring a motivated, detail oriented and enthusiastic Ophthalmic Technician to join our team in Gurnee. Responsibilities:

We are a multi-specialty/multi-physician practice seeking a candidate with the following skills:

· tonometry

· refractometry

· topography

· Perform tests: Visual fields, A-scans (IOL Master), glare testing, lensometry, and OCT

Ideal candidate will have at least 1 year experience with working in an MD office, familiar with EMR/EHR environment (IMedicWare a plus). A successful candidate will want to learn new skills and secure their Certified Ophthalmic Assistant or Certified Ophthalmic Technician certification within a year of on-the-job training.
