- Collaborate with the optometrist or ophthalmologist to provide comprehensive eye care services
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as an Optician or in a similar role preferred
- Strong knowledge of optical principles, lens materials, and frame styles
- Familiarity with retail math and sales techniques
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
- Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to understand prescriptions
- Proficiency in using optical systems (e.g., Epic) for record keeping and order processing
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with diverse populations (e.g., pediatrics, senior care) is a plus
