Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Optician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for eye care and providing exceptional service to our patients. As an Optician, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers with selecting eyewear that meets their vision needs and style preferences.

Responsibilities:

- Assist customers in selecting frames that complement their facial features and prescription requirements
- Take accurate measurements to ensure proper fit of eyeglasses
- Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and enhancements
- Adjust and repair eyewear as needed
- Process orders for eyewear and contact lenses
- Maintain inventory of frames and supplies
- Keep accurate records of customer prescriptions and orders

Experience:

- Experience in medical billing or retail sales is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, aseptic technique, HIPAA regulations, laboratory procedures, optical principles, ophthalmology, and medical records systems is advantageous
