Being an Optician assists and advises customers in selecting frames based on their prescription, lifestyle needs, and style preferences. Inspects lenses for quality, fits and adjusts eyewear, and repairs eyewear as needed. Additionally, Optician instructs customer on correct eyeglasses and contact lens care and maintenance. May process work orders and sales. Requires a high school diploma. Requires Applicable License. Requires Licensed Optician. Typically reports to a manager. We are seeking a skilled and experienced optician to join our team. As an optician, you will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting and fitting eyeglasses, working in the lab edging lenses , as well as providing exceptional customer service. You will work closely with an optometrist and other team members to ensure that each customer receives personalized attention and finds the perfect eyewear solution.
