Position Summary:
My Eye Guy is looking for a General Manager to join our team. The General Manager will be responsible for leading the team and overseeing all operations of the store. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and working with a strong commitment to delivering an exceptional experience for guests and team members. This position is responsible for building a team of motivated, dedicated, and passionate individuals that will deliver on our vision.
Essential Functions:
·Leads all front of house operations, including managing staff, business to business outreaching, inventory management, and overseeing the company's promise for quality customer service.
·Ensures all glasses and contacts orders are with company standards, policies and procedures.
·Ensure that the guest has a positive experience by consistently setting standards, providing training and feedback to employees.
·Coordinates daily activities to meet business objectives and maintain departmental schedules and records.
·Coordinates weekly staff meetings to maintain morale and performance standards.
·Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and company policies on work environment quality of life issues such as safety regulations on dress code, time off policies, etc.
·Manages all company communications regarding employee performance issues with an emphasis on employee attendance issues.
·Maintains employee files in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
·Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
·Minimum 5 years’ experience in optical management or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
